With 33 days to go until the Jokkmokk market, Markus is in Innsbruck training hard for his long Vespa journey through northern Europe.
He is practicing driving in the snow, including taking the Vespa to the Alps to ski. However, he has had to change his original plan. Instead of coming here on a 1954 Vespa, he will drive a 1986 Vespa. One of the reasons for this is that it is not possible to get suitable tires for the older Vespa. Larger tires are available for the 1986 Vespa, but he will have to put the 250 studs in each tire himself.
