The Gállok Mobilization and Mining Resistance in Sweden and the World

Lecture by Daniel Fjellborg, a political science researcher at LTU. Daniel presents his research, which maps the resistance against new mines in Sweden over the past decade, from Österlen in the south to Kiruna in the north. Special focus is placed on the opposition to the proposed mine in Kallak/Gállok in Jokkmokk, with comparisons to mining resistance in other parts of the world.
