Guoddi

The performance Guoddi combines Sámi tradition with modern art, where avant-garde duodji and performing arts create a cultural dialogue.

Dancers Ánna-Katri Helander and Sebastian Björkman, composer Anthoni Hætta, and duodjár Ann-Sofie Kallok have created an interdisciplinary synthesis of movement and sound. The theme is avant-garde, aiming to convey Sámi identity beyond traditional norms. Kallok’s avant-garde duodji takes center stage, shaping the expression adopted by the other art forms.
