Jojk with Simon Issát Marainen

Simon Issát Marainen is known as one of the greatest contemporary traditional joikers in Sápmi. His expression is deeply rooted and uncompromisingly Sami. He is said to be able to move freely between western tones and 1000-year-old tradition and is described as a broad and deep voice artist. With him on stage, he has Axel Andersson Utsi on keyboard and strings, Markus Larsson on drums and Torbjörn Ömalm on strings.
