Cookies are small text files that are sent to and stored on your device (mobile, computer or tablet) and that are commonly found on the internet. Some are necessary for you to be able to make full use of the website’s functionality, while others are used to improve your user experience and facilitate navigation on the website.
There are two types of cookies; permanent and temporary (so-called session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your device for a longer period of time in order to be able to adapt the website to your wishes, choices and interests. When the expiration date has passed, the cookie is deleted when you return to the website that created it. Session cookies are temporarily placed on your computer when you visit the website and are sent between your computer and the server while you visit the website and are deleted when you close your browser. It is used, for example, to keep track of the language you have selected.
